Carnac were engaged to perform a review of as-built drawings for a dewatering piping system at a nickel refinery. The aim of the assignment was to confirm that the as-built drawings were suitable for the installation of new pipework.
Carnac carried out the following:
3D scanning of the existing pipework;
3D modelling of the pipework based on the results of the 3D scans; and
Provided isometric drawings of the new pipework design.
Carnac’s design review provided the client with the assurance that the new pipework could be installed on budget and operate as purposed with no other unexpected surprises.
