Nickel is primarily used in stainless steel production, however is also a crucial element in batteries, alloys, coatings, and chemical catalysts. Carnac's team has a wealth of experience in the mining and processing of nickel in WA.

Carnac undertook detailed engineering design and drafting services for the refurbishment of a sulphur melting pit.
Carnac were engaged to perform a review of as-built drawings for a dewatering piping system at a nickel refinery. The aim of the assignment was to confirm that the as-built drawings were suitable for the installation of new pipework.
Carnac were engaged to provide shop detail drawings in order for the fabrication of a new hopper and support for sulphur reclaim at a nickel refinery.
