Designing a new, environmentally friendly Brine Chiller System

Project Value $2m

Solution Provided | Detailed Engineering Design

Maintaining the perfect temperature is crucial for many industrial processes. Our Client needed to replace a Brine Chiller System that used chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) in the chilling process.

The new purpose-built machinery room was located within a Brownfield installation location and required tie-in to the existing brine and cooling water reticulation system.

Carnac provided engineering services at a detailed design level for the project and support for construction and commissioning activities. This was a multi-disciplinary job, delivering outcomes with regards to process and instrumentation, mechanical and electrical works, and civil and structural design.
